Subhadra Yojana is a financial assistance scheme which has been started by the Odisha government to give a good life to women between 21 and 60 years old. Subhadra Yojana has been launched in Odisha by PM Narendra Modi in which assistance of ₹ 10000 is given every year. This assistance is given for 5 years the total assistance amount is ₹ 50000.
The beneficiary woman is given the amount in 2 installments of 5000 every year. Every year on the day of Rakshabandhan and International Women’s Day, two installments of 5000 are deposited in the woman’s bank account through DBT i.e. Direct Benefit Transfer.

What is Subhadra Yojana (ସୁଭଦ୍ରା ଯୋଜନା)?
The Odisha government provides financial assistance to married women to improve their social life and to improve their businesses. Women whose age is between 21 years and 60 years are given the benefit of this scheme. The Odisha government gives ₹ 10000 to these women every year and the benefit of this amount is available for 5 years, the total amount of which is ₹ 50000.
Subhadra Yojana Eligibility
To qualify for the Subhadra Yojana, a woman must:
- Be between 21 and 60 years old
- Live in Odisha
- Have a family income of ₹2,50,000 or less per year
- Not work as a government employee, pay income tax, or receive over ₹1,500 each month from another government program
- Have her name listed on her household’s ration card
